Frequently Asked Questions

How much of a deposit or retaining fee is required? Are Credit cards accepted?

Normally a 50% deposit is due at contract signing with the balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the wedding date or date of first event covered. If you would like to arrange a smaller deposit with a payment plan we are happy to work with you. We no longer accept credit cards. We will not release any materials until we have been payed in full.

Do you travel?

Yes, we will be happy to travel to your wedding location if it is outside the Space Coast and Treasure Coast areas of Florida. There will be a travel charge computed based on the actual and anticipated cost incured and we will be happy to negotiate these charges with you so there are no surprises.

Do You use professional cameras and audio?

We use professional FULL HD 1080 cameras which are great in low light. HD 1080 is the largest and best screen resolution possible and contains significantly more detail then even HD 720 which is the most common HD used by other wedding videographers. This difference will become more important as televesion standards evolve into the future. See Chart

Professional wireless microphones are used for capturing audio during the ceremony for clean clear audio of your vows.

Do you use lighting?

Lights are rarely used during the ceremony, the preparation or post-ceremony activities. It is often necessary to use lighting during the reception because of the low available light in most reception halls.
Do you have back-ups in case of equipment malfunctions?

All on-site equipment has a back-up so that any gear malfunctioning on the job can be replaced without interruption.
How will you be dressed?
We wear appropriate clothing matched to the decorum of the event. From Tuxedos, suite and tie to casual beach attire.
Can you record other activities that are not held at the ceremony and reception locations?
Yes! Coverage at homes or gathering places before the ceremony or between the ceremony and reception are often where some of the best and most memorable events occur. Coverage is based on time available and number of videographers contracted.
Do you record interviews with the family & bridal party at the reception?
If interviews are not requested they will not be done. All efforts are made to be as inconspicuous as possible. When requested we interview the family and bridal party as unobtrusively as possible.
Can we select music for you to use in the editing process?
Yes. Songs that are special to the couple can be edited into the final program.

Can we have special photos, slides or home video edited into our wedding video?

Yes! We offer a photo / video montage option. This option can be completed in advance of your event so it may be shown as part of your rehearsal dinner or reception event activities. We can also edit in clips and pictures into the final edited wedding video even though you may not have the montage option. We do however need to discuss any custom editing requests and there may be additional fees to do so. Just ask.

Do the Blu-Ray Discs and DVDs have chaptered menus?

Yes your final edited video will include on average 15-20 chapter points including a menu allowing direct access. We offer a choice of menu styles.

Will our "Wedding on the Web DVD" be viewable by the public or in a hidden directory?

Your Wedding on the Web DVD will be placed in a hidden directory that only you and those you tell about it will be able to access. You will be emailed the specific web address that you can share with family and friends, and if you would like, we can add a username and password to access the page. We do reserve the right to show prospective brides your wedding as part of the sales process.
